For me, there is only one possible candidate:

Red Dead Redemption.

A fully open world set in 1911 in the Wild West, it's made by the same people who gave us Grand Theft Auto (another amazing game). You play as John Marston who must kill the members of his old gang to get his family back who are being held by the federal government. You are left free to explore the huge open world and go hunting, play poker and even become an outlaw. With tons of missions throughout New Austin to Mexico, the single player campaign keeps you fully interested. There's even a new single player downloadable content pack- Undead Nightmare. basically, its Red Dead but with zombies! And with new missions whats to complain about :D

Apart from Red Dead there isn't much others, Sims 3 Late Night wasn't great for me, and Black Ops and Halo Reach could have been made better. However, Fifa 11 is an amazing game if you like football XDD
